What is NLP?
NLP is Neuro-Linguistc Programming. These are a collection of processes that have been modelled on those who achieve consistently high results.
Neuro being brain.
Linguistic being language, communication and beliefs we run.
Programming is the programs system.
Understanding and working with all 3, determines our outcome. Stuart uses NLP processes at the hypnotic level to create deep and fast change that is long term.

Does the hypnotherapist control you?
In as much as you allow yourself to go into a trance you are in control, the hypnotherapist is a facilitator only. You are the one that controls the experience. It is the ownership of the experience that gives results.

Can I be made to do stupid things?
This question is most asked! Stage hypnosis gives people the opportunity to expand their normal behaviour. They are also not changing habits, behaviours or beliefs! What you see on stage is real and he can do that too....Remember stage hypnosis is entertainment. Hypnotherapy is using the hypnosis state for therapy!
Stuart often says, "I take people doing 'stupid things' and get them to do 'amazing things' - the process is very similar yet you are aware of subtle changes as they happen.
-
What does it feel like?
To understand it, you have to experience it yourself. It ranges from being fully aware, thinking you can get up and walk away - to a deep, deep trance almost on the verge of sleep. Even if you are asleep, it works!!!
Be assured that you can open your eyes at any time and the trance is broken....you are in total control. However, if you open your mind to the experience, it is amazing.
-
Is Hypnosis dangerous?
If used unethically or inexpertly, ye. That is why it is necessary to find a Hypnotherapist like Stuart, who is part of an association, who is bound by a code of ethics and has the qualifications. You must also select someone that you feel confident with and makes you feel comfortable, that is crucial, as you generally open up to this person.

How long does it last for?
For kids under 14, generally when we get results for an issue, we are done! This may be one session, although a second is recommended to deepen the improvements.
For adults, the outcomes can be immediate as when you are listening and working through the processes. For emotional people, they generally hold the change until the following processes when we make the 'new'...automatic. For highly analytical people, it may not be immediate or as dramatic and it may be more subtle for emotional people.
If you have not experienced immediate change yet, just relax as the mind may be integrating the changes slowly and it may take a few days to cut in. You will definitely have a greater awareness of what you are doing and it is this that allows improvements and integration to continue for up to 10 days.
In each process, we aim deeper to access different levels of your mind, providing long term change. At times, you may only experience the shift for a few days after listening, the changes and improvements will hold. Remember, habits are created and destroyed all the time. Keep doing the right stuff the right way an you are done!

Why is FitMind different?
Knowledge is power! We have all heard this. Have you heard, "knowledge is power....when it is applied"? One of the pre-suppositions (beliefs) in hypnosis an NLP is that we have within us NOW...ALL the abilities and skills we need to succeed.
Putting this logically, consider a light switch.
The switch is wired up to the potential power to light up a room. The issue is that many do not actually turn the switch on.
In Business, Network Marketing, Weight Loss, Study or any aspect of life, we know what we need to do or want to do. Something just stops us from doing it! Fear! This fear, doubt or procrastination is there for a reason....to protect us from any POTENTIAL hurt or harm, physically or emotionally.
This program is powerful because we turn on all the knowledge...When the switch is applied, so too is all the knowledge, free of blockages or fear. Many sit in the darkness afraid of the light and being seen, this process is very revealing.
After all you may ask, were did the darkness go?
And the answer is...who cares!!!
Enjoy the light

What is hypnosis?
There are many varied definitions of hypnosis and the "trance state". Basically it is a mental state that is different to the one normally expected. It is a state when attention is turned inwards and in which conscious awareness distracted, that the deeper levels of the mind can be accessed and motivated to change in a way that seems perfectly natural.
Daydreaming is a form of trance....The body must have these trance states many times daily in order to refocus, normally after a period of physical or mental activity. Remember arriving at work but then you can't remember having driven there? These are examples of hypnotic trance. You are still in control of your mind but somehow time has passed.

How often do I need to listen to this?
Everyone is different yet the same fundamentals apply to everyone. FitMind for Life is developed as a generic program and for more specialised assistance, please feel free to contact Stuart or Mireille for a Team or Personal Coaching.
In Stuart's clinical situation, this is done over a three-week period and each session is one hour each and a week apart. If you can replicate this, great!
"in my clinic I combine several processes at once into a session. I have created the FitMind Program into modules so you can selectively choose the appropriate process if you need to revisit a certain aspect at any time" - Stuart
FitMind is structured in such a way that it flows from one process to another. Starting from the end is certainly not going to work!
People process information at different speeds and at different levels and different ways, so here are a few ways to approach FitMind.
- Take one hour out of your week and set aside 3 weeks for FitMind - Read the workbook, answer the questions an proceed to the MP3 intros and MP3 processes when prompted. At the end of the hour, allow the information to process and use "The Dear Diary Process" nightly to enhance the changes as you sleep! The following week, go through the next one hour of information.
- Follow the processes step-by-step and process by process until it is done....repeat if required and legend status is achieved. The MP3's are designed to have one process per week to allow your mind to change and process at the deeper level. Some changes may be instant and others may take 5-7 days to kick in. There is no logic behind this...it just does.! Sometimes the hardest things are the easiest as they are front of mind, the small things may be partially processed or suppressed and may need some time to uncover, process, integrate, then test and test until the results are noticed on the surface.
- Take each program and listening process individually and only move on when you have experienced a level of change that we have targeted. Be aware that some changes rely on other processes to be experienced for change to occur.
- Combine both options! Go through it all at once then come back to an individual focused concept.

Can I listen to this in the car?
The best way to listen is in a quiet place at a time when you are not expecting distractions.
NEVER use this in the car or under the influence of drugs or alcohol for obvious reasons!
The hypnosis state is maybe the most relaxed you will ever be so you will not need any assistance!

What is the best way to listen FitMind?
The hypnosis state is maybe the most relaxed you will ever be so you will not need any assistance!
You may choose to be sitting with your head supported, laying on a bed or any other place like this. Uncross your legs and whenever possible, have headphones in or be alone! Nothing worse than the kids or fellow workers passed out on the floor next to you as you listen to this!
